Amazing Zero Suit Samus costume mod for Cammy in Street Fighter V PC–now available for free download

For Street Fighter V players on PC who aren’t happy with the game’s official selection of costumes, there have been more than a few excellent costumes made by modders; one of the more impressive mods that has caught the eye of the community as of late is this Zero Suit Samus mod for Cammy by Khaledantar666.

Previously available only to Patreon backers, this mod is one of the most amazing costume mods that has come out for Street Fighter V. Part of what makes this mod so impressive is the amount of work put into it–while most costume mode are content to just add on to the existing model, this one takes things a step further, changing the entire model to recreate how Samus Aran looks in her Zero Suit. This includes flowing hair, an achievement in itself, when other mods still have trouble dealing with Cammy’s normal in-game hair.

On top of all this, Khaledantar666 even gives players the option of having her with extra gear similar to what she can be seen sporting in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U. This is on top of a number of well thought-out alternate color options.

For any interested PC players, you can download the mod here. In the meantime, check out these video of the mod in action from Khaledantar666.

Final Round 20 Mortal Kombat XL champion Dragon talks about going from online warrior to beating SonicFox

For competitive Mortal Kombat fans, one of the biggest shockers coming out of Final Round 20 was that EchoFox’s SonicFox did not win the event. Long considered the most dominant player in the game, SonicFox lost to Noble’s Dragon, who finally secured a major tournament win against the former, after defeating him online in the Kombat Cup.

In the latest installment of the Condiment Cast, PND’s Mustard talks to Dragon, discussing his win over Sonic Fox at Final Round 20. As part of this, they look back to Dragon’s first-ever major tournament, where he lost to SonicFox–who was his first opponent in his pool. They also go into Dragon’s history as being mostly an online ranked match warrior, and how much he’s achieved since then.

In addition to this, they also talk about Dragon’s approach to character choice. Known for picking multiple characters, Dragon discusses how he basically picks whichever of his characters is best for the matchup.

Of course, this isn’t all they discuss. Hit up the interview below to learn more, including Dragon’s thoughts on Injustice 2, and which characters he’ll pick in that game.

He’s back–Black Adam challenges the House of El in Part 3 of Shattered Alliances for Injustice 2

As promised during their most recent Watchtower stream, NetherRealm Studios has released the 3rd Shattered Alliances story trailer for Injustice 2. Shattered Alliances Part 3 focuses on series newcomer Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, and her cousin, Kal El, the deposed Superman who was the ruler of the Regime from the first Injustice game.

Things start out well for the cousins, with Kara seemingly taking out Black Adam (who’s return this trailer has confirmed) after he attacks her cousin. However, all is not well, as Kal El’s belief in leading through fear conflicts with Kara’s own values, with her pointing out to her cousin that the symbol on their chests is the Kryptonian symbol for hope. Looks like they’ll end up being on opposite sides for Injustice 2’s story.

New TAC Infinite discovered for Dante in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Despite its age, new things continue to be discovered in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. This latest discovery involves Dante–specifically, a new TAC Infinite for him.

The infinite–which you can see demonstrated by HB Evasion in the video below–is interesting because it involves a hard knockdown, making him only the second character after Dr. Doom who can do a TAC Infinite off one. By using the hard knockdown off his air S, Dante can relaunch his opponent using his Volcano move, and then loop back into his air S once again.

Take note that the infinite is quite difficult to do, and HB Evasion actually only does two loops in the video above. The infinite itself was discovered during the development of another infinite (which you can see below). This one uses the air S into Volcano launcher only once to set up a different loop. Both infinite combos have been confirmed to work midscreen, as well as in the corner.

The King of Fighters: Destiny, a CG animated TV series, is coming this Summer

When SNK was acquired by Chinese investors in 2015, one of the ideas they floated around was the possibility of bringing the King of Fighters franchise into other media. Now it seems that we’re going to see the first fruits of this effort, as SNK have just announced a new CG animated series for the franchise.

Called The King of Fighters: Destiny, this new CG animated series is set to premiere in China sometime this summer, with a Japanese release likely to follow after. As part of this announcement, SNK have dropped a trailer for The King of Fighters: Destiny showing a number of characters, and apparently focusing on past events between the Bogard brothers–Terry and Andy–and their nemesis Geese Howard.

In addition to this, the series’ official website also lists Kyo Kusanagi, Benimaru Nikaido, Goro Daimon, Joe Higashi, Ryo Sakazaki, Robert Garcia, and Yuri Sakazaki as making appearances.

Street Fighter V bug prevents Alex from doing a Slash Elbow after landing an Air Knee Smash

One of Alex’s best tools to close space and cover ground quickly in Street Fighter V is his Slash Elbow. However, a strange bug has been discovered that prevents him from doing this move after landing an Air Knee Smash on his opponent.

In the video below, Monokeros demonstrates the bug, showing that while Alex cannot perform his Slash Elbow, he can still perform moves such as Air Stampede and Head Crush. With both of the latter being down-charge moves, while slash Elbow requiring a back-charge instead, the theory is that landing Air Knee Smash somehow makes the game reset the timing on the back charge. This is supported by the fact that by holding back long enough after the animation from Air Knee Smash’s recovery ends, Alex is able to finally pull off a Slash Elbow.

Learn to fight Zero in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 with these matchup notes

Zero is generally acknowledged to be the one of the best, if not the best overall point character in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Speed, mobility, and damage–the Maverick Hunter just seems to have it all in the game. As such, he can be a hard character to deal with, especially for newer players coming in through the game’s new ports on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

To help players deal with Zero’s shenanigans in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, theram232 is starting a new tutorial series focused on dealing with him. Part one of this series is now out, and focuses on dealing with Zero’s offensive pressure.
