Last week, Brant “Pig of the Hut” McCaskill released the first video in a three part series devoted to deconstructing Mortal Kombat X’s Kenshi. That first video–which you can find here–picked apart the fighter’s Possessed variant, offering tips and tricks ranging from combos to pressure options and beyond.

Since then, McCaskill has recorded and uploaded the second and third installments of this video series, which you can find below. As with the previous video, you’ll learn the ups and downs of Kenshi’s Balanced and Kenjutsu variations as well as an all-inclusive look at everything that you should be doing in order to secure victory.

Evolution 2015 included a massive lineup of competitive fighting titles, and gave every subdivision of this genre that we love at least some degree of recognition as part of the main event. As massive as that lineup may have been, it’s impossible to give every popular game its time to shine. Luckily, dedicated fans always show devotion to their titles of choice by running side tournaments if their game doesn’t make the cut.

This year, two of the games featured in this way were Blazblue: Chronophantasma EXTEND and Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late. Vega’s Street Fighter V inclusion may have only been revealed two short days ago, but we’ve already learned a good deal about what the high flying Spaniard will be bringing to the fight. Thanks to Gamescom 2015, fans have been able to wield the claw themselves to get a feel for the fighter’s current motion-based controls.

Below, we’ve included three match videos, two of which feature Vega bouncing off walls like we’re used to seeing, and one featuring another recent roster addition: Necalli. Footage surrounding this feral fighter has itself been limited, so be sure to check out that match as well. Initial viewings show proof that Necalli’s hair looks fantastic at all times, but never quite so fantastic as when it catches the air just right when he goes in for a dive kick.

Do note that these matches are far from tournament level, but since this is such an early look at these two characters, there’s plenty to glean from the footage. This is likely not the only batch of matches that we’ll be seeing from Gamescom 2015, so be sure to stay tuned for more.

Olympic Gaming is back with another weekly helping of high-level Ultra Street Fighter play. This week’s player spotlight shines on Yoro, who levels opponents with Adon’s mastery of Muay Thai.

As always, competition is tough, featuring matches against Bonchan’s signature Sagat and Zv|Kazunoko’s Seth, just to name a couple. If you stick around until the end, you’ll see some live tournament footage as well, much like what we saw in RemyBleu’s video last week.

If you found yourself among those with a shiny new key in their inbox and are looking to get a jump start on exactly what to do once you’ve settled on a character, this extensive combo video from Pan should be just what you’re looking for.

Pan broke the combos up by character and then arranged them from simplest to most difficult. The scaling in difficulty often involves an increase in both Kinetic and super meter expenditure, so grabbing a couple of combos from both ends of the spectrum certainly wouldn’t be a bad idea.

Landing the best punish possible can turn an inevitable loss into a victory that gets even the most smug members of the crowd on their feet. Or, you know, a victory that at least prevents the loss of those sweet, sweet, ranked points. Proper punishes are important to every character, but characters like Ultra Street Fighter IV’s Yang, who find themselves on the lower end of the damage spectrum, have even more reason to squeeze every bit of pain out of these situations as possible.

With this in mind, Notorious A.L.B. put together a video showcasing the best options that Yang has for making opponents think twice about sticking out an errant dragon punch. They all deal a respectable amount of damage, and some of them have the added bonus of ending with a safe jump opportunity.

Do note that the soundtrack to this video has some strong NSFW language, but it’s nothing compared to what Gouken players will say when on the receiving end of the final combo.
