Funcom has announced that it has secured a $6.4M private investment in the company and that, combined with other debt conversion initiatives, its equity has improved from -$10M to +4M. The move gives the company better financial stability and footing to continue to develop both small and large titles including Conan Exiles, currently scheduled to hit beta testing this summer.
Final Fantasy XV: New Kingsglaive Movie Images Surface
Square Enix has released several new images from the live-action movie being filmed based on Final Fantasy XV. Called Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, the movie is scheduled for release on July 9th in Japan with an English language version for release later via stream, download or Blu-Ray.
No Man’s Sky: ‘Reliable Sources’ Reporting Delay to Later 2016
Kotaku is citing a pair of ‘reliable sources’ indicating that No Man’s Sky will slip past its currently scheduled June 2016 release date and may not show up until late July or August at the earliest. According to a Gamestop employee, stores were informed that the date had changed since the printing of promotional material thus requiring the date to be covered up.
