Black Desert Online: Can Fishing Ever Be Fun?
I hate fishing in Black Desert Online. In fact, hate is a generous word: I absolutely loathe it. Every single MMO I’ve ever played always has a group of players desperately wanting fishing to be implemented and yet it has to be, without doubt, the most mind numbing profession ever devised. I’ve never once fished in an MMO and found it entertaining. In fact, I’m not even sure it’s possible to make it entertaining.
Overwatch: The Fall Of Titan, The Rise Of Overwatch
GameSpot has produced a trio of videos featuring interviews with several members of the Blizzard development team behind the cancelled project Titan. In these candid interviews developers acknowledge mistakes made on Titan and the pain of the failure. However, out of the ashes of Titan came Overwatch, set to be released in May. Warframe: New Game Mode And Much More Planned For The Future
During a special panel held at PAX East this last weekend, the Warframe team revealed the first information about new content coming in the future. Players can look forward to Vauban Prime and a new competitive game mode called Lunaro. A highlight video was released to give viewers a first-hand look at some of the incoming content. General: ROKH: Demo Walkthrough Video Released
During this past weekend’s PAX East convention Darewise Entertainment provided visitors with a walkthrough of some of the current ROKH game content. ARK: Survival Evolved: Official Mods Program To Launch In May
The ARK: Survival Evolved team has announced that it will be continuing to support the efforts of modding community with the release of the Official Mods Program, starting in May 2016. The first map to be released using the new program will be called The Center. The new tools will be fully integrated into the ARK system and will be available both for Xbox One and PC users.
General: ‘It’s No Secret There’s Going To Be Another Borderlands’
According to Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford, “It’s no secret, obviously there’s going to be another Borderlands”. Pitchford made the statement at this weekend’s PAX East and further revealed that Battleborn art director Scott Kester will also be working on the project. Mikey Neumann will be the author of the storyline.
The Repopulation: Fragmented: NDA Lifts, Free To All Owners
Above And Beyond Technologies’ developer J.C. Smith has sent word that the NDA for Fragmented has officially lifted several days ahead of the game’s launch on Steam, scheduled for April 26th. In addition, Smith wrote that all current owners of The Repopulation will have the game automatically added to their Steam library.
Elder Scrolls Online: Dark Brotherhood Headed to PTS on April 25th
Straight out of PAX East, the team has announced that the forthcoming Elder Scrolls Online DLC, Dark Brotherhood, will be heading to the PTS beginning Monday, April 25th!
Battleborn: Third Motion Comic, No More Heroics, Released
In preparation for the May 3rd release of Battleborn for PS4, XB One and PC, Gearbox has released the latest in a series of videos to introduce players to the characters and lore behind the game. The newest video is called Chapter 3: No More Heroics and you can check it out below.
