Phantasy Star Online 2: When Worlds Collide – FFXIV & PSO2 Cross Promotion Revealed

During a Phantasy Star Online 2 event in Tokyo this past weekend, it was announced that Final Fantasy XIV and Phantasy Star Online 2 will be exchanging a few assets for cross-promotion. FFXIV’s Odin will enter PSO2 this summer as well as Miqo’te outfits. At this point, it remains unrevealed what PSO2 items will appear in FFXIV but it’s a likely bet they will. According to Kotaku, this should be revealed soon.

Camelot Unchained: CSE’s Sausage

A lot, “a lot” is roughly number of CSE updates we’ve seen over the last few of weeks (30 plus youtube videos alone). It’s almost like they planned for this or something (stirs his pot). After being in a lull (by their standards) for a few months it’s nice to see CSE firing in all cylinders. It would be impossible to cover everything, or even almost everything CSE has been showing us so I’ll have to go with…bullet points! How exciting!

EVE Online: Chronicles of a New Eden – What I Expect From Fanfest

EVE Fanfest is now exactly a month away, and for those of you who might be unfamiliar, it’s one of the biggest weekends all year for EVE Online. It’s a pretty good time.

Building on the success of Pillars of Eternity the team at Obsidian is now ready to show their next RPG.

Black Desert Online: Why Do You Think BDO Has Been So Well Received?

Some friends and I were discussing Black Desert Online earlier this week and we eventually began to chat about the wider genre and how, seemingly, many people have grown tired of the typical formulae surrounding “theme parks”. My brother, who rarely plays MMO’s any longer, asked why I thought Black Desert Online had been so well received.

Blade & Soul: Silverfrost Mountains – The Biggest Update Yet

These past few months Blade & Soul has kept up a very fast paced schedule of content. Their goal is to bring North America up to speed with the other regions of the world and get players on an equal timeline globally. To do this there have been some big updates that have come just after launch. The Rising Waters expansion as well as the release of the Warlock class continued this drive. Now we are hot on the heels of the Silverfrost Mountains update with lots more to come.
