NCSoft West has announced that it has opened a new studio in California that is dedicated to mobile games, "as well as titles inspired by NCSoft’s existing game portfolio". Called Iron Tiger Studios, development will initially be focused on three individual teams and projects.
MMO-Champion is reporting that the World of Warcraft Legion expansion is due out on or before September 21, 2016. In addition, the standard edition of Legion will run $50 with the digital collector’s edition coming in at $70 with a level 100 boost included and a week’s early access to the new Demon Hunter class.

Battlestate Games has announced that it is working on a genre-bending MMO that combines FPS/TPS and RPG elements. Called Escape from Tarkove, the game takes place in the Russian city of Tarkov with characters working for two private military companies.
Aiming for a 2017 release, Sean Daniel Company of The Mummy franchise fame and Studio Platige Films have announced that a live action feature film is in the initial planning stages. The project already has an Oscar nominated director, Tomasz Baginski, and Thania St. John, known for her work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, working as a writer.
