Everyone has a fighting chance
The Camelot Unchained team will be focused on IT testing several new systems in the alpha build of the game so things will be quieter than usual until next week when the first class presentation will be revealed to the world. The presentation, which will tentatively take place on Wednesday, September 24th via Twitch, will begin a series of events to unveil the classes that will be present in Camelot Unchained.
So much for channeling the inner Buzz Lightyear, but the fact remains that inXile’s latest update includes the happy news that Torment: Tides of Numenera is ready to give the alpha systems some work. Those backers with alpha systems access in their tier rewards will be able to get a look at small chunks of the early story, not only to test the systems, but to get an idea of where the overall project is headed developmentally.
Haemont Games has announced the release of the first, free Tome of Souls, a new weapon type for Victor Vran players. Tomes belong to spellcasters that uses arcane energy in powerful magical attacks. In addition, five unique tomes can be found in the game that include such nifty titles as "Fifty Shades of Slay" and "Nekonomicon". Using the special MIGHTIER-THAN-SWORD in the Options menu sets off the journey for a legendary tome.
Head starts and an upcoming launch aside, Dan Tudge took time this morning to chat with us about Sword Coast Legends. For fans of 12Sky, sadly shut down in about 2009, today marks a banner day with the revival of the game by a new company named Anrinch Entertainment. According to information sent out way, 12Sky has been hosting several hundred players concurrently and is on the lookout for more players to join up.
