$10k PvP Tournament Announced for Old School Server

Jagex Game Studio has announced a debut competitive tournament for Old School RuneScape to take place 24th – 26th July. It will have three different game modes: King of the Hill, First to X kills, and Last Team Standing. Aside from the tournament, the game will also get two new slayer bosses and PvP mode: Deadman.

WEBZEN has announced a pair of summer events that are ready to kick off in MU Online. The first, Evomon Evolves, will run June 9th – June 23rd. The second, Castle Siege Event, will take place June 14th – June 21st.

Trion Worlds has announced that dragons will be arriving in Trove beginning next week. Players will receive a dragon hatchling that can be raised to a fire-breathing mount over time. The team has plans to release more information over the next week or so.

Polygon has a terrific article about a new Japanese-styled RPG that will be unveiled next week at E3 2015. Called Project Zodiac, the game is being developed by a French studio, Kobojo, which is not just incidentally populated by some of the genre’s top game makers including several key members of the Final Fantasy series and one Mario Rizzo who heads up the studio.
