The Albion Online team has sent out a new video developer diary to talk about the Guild vs Guild warfare system as it will appear in the game. According to devs, GvG is limited to five players on each side to allow smaller guilds to compete with larger guilds on even footing. Check it out!
NCSoft has announced that the next Aion expansion, Upheaval, will launch on June 17th. Upheaval brings two new areas complete with new monsters and quests into Aion. In addition, the Stigma system has been overhauled, new weapon / armor sets have been added and much more.
Riot Games has announced that the successful author of several novels based on the Warhammer universe has joined the team as its senior narrative writer. Graham McNeill also formerly worked for Games Workshop.
The PlayStation Blog has been updated with the news that PlanetSide 2 will be launching on PS4 on June 23rd in both the EU and in North America.

While the series has never gotten an MMO or true online treatment, we’re still fans of the venerable and highly regarded franchise. And today, with the announcement of Fallout 4 from Bethesda, we figured there’s no better time to postulate about what we want to see in the newest version of the Wasteland.
Bethesda inadvertently let the cat out of the bag today when the teaser site for Fallout 4 went live earlier than expected. However, the site’s timer has run down and the first trailer is now live. Check it out and let us know what you’re most looking forward to with Fallout 4.

Gazillion Entertainment is ready to pull out all the stops in celebration of the second anniversary of Marvel Heroes 2015 on Thursday, June 4th. To celebrate in a big way, Dr. Doom is being introduced to the community as the 48th playable character. The team will be on hand at 10:00 a.m. Pacific / 1:00 p.m. Eastern tomorrow in the Marvel Heroes Twitch channel to show off Dr. Doom.
I feel comfortable saying the majority of CU backers hailed from DAOC, which launched on October 10, 2001. Back then, MMORPGers were likely a bit ahead of the times, had a decent chunk of expendable income (or their parents did) and were likely more…um, "mature" (for lack of a better word) than the toddlers walking around playing phone "apps" these days.
It seems someone jumped the gun at Bethesda at the teaser site for Fallout 4 (Fallout4.com) went live a little early this morning. It’s down now, but Gameranx EIC Ian Miles Cheong caught a screen grab before it disappeared again. Ladies and gentlemen… are you ready to return to the Wasteland?
