Guild Wars 2: Find a Way Into the Next Heart of Thorns Beta…Literally
Guild Wars 2 players looking for a way into the next Heart of Thorns expansion beta event can literally find a way in by adventuring through the Maguuma Wastes in the game. While battling monsters in Dry Top and the Silverwastes, special portals can be dropped giving access to Maguuma Wastes. Sprinkled throughout the Wastes are special trophies that, if found, will grant access to the forthcoming beta event (not yet dated).
Firefall: Former ArenaNet Dev Chris Whiteside Joins Red5
The Firefall team has a new Design Director with the addition of former ArenaNet and Guild Wars developer Chris Whiteside. The notice was given on Whiteside’s personal Facebook page with his blessing to post the big news. Expect more from Red5 about Chris’s appointment and our own exclusive interview in the coming days.
Star Wars: The Old Republic: Rise of the Emperor Coming Tuesday, April 28th
The latest Star Wars: The Old Republic update will be arriving on Tuesday, April 28th. Called "Rise of the Emperor", the update brings a new planet and storyline into the game. Players will need to have purchased the Shadow of Revan expansion and a character at level 60 to be able to access the new content.
Guild Wars 2: Mesmers to Get Shields in Heart of Thorns
The Guild Wars 2 Facebook page has been updated with a beautiful new image of a Mesmer using a shield. Just further confirmation that the Profession will be getting the Shield as its new weapon in Heart of Thorns.
