Everyone has a fighting chance
Webzen has announced that Age of Wulin (EU) developers will be launching the next content update on April 28th. Called Chapter 5: Heaven’s Ascent, the update will include the Ladder to Heaven PvP feature that will match players in cross server battles for dominance. Players will also be able to move through content to gain the new, higher level gear coming with Chapter 5.
Crimean gamers woke up to find that Battle.net has been blocked by Western-backed sanctions against Russia implemented to try to stop tensions between Russia and the Ukraine. Crimean players no longer have access to Heroes of the Storm, World of Warcraft, Starcraft II, Hearthstone, and Diablo III. While World of Warcraft has been blocked in Crimea for several months, Battle.net had remained open for Blizzard’s other titles.
I’ve got a love/hate relationship with these Hearthstone adventure modes. Five weeks until all the goodies are unlocked? Ugh! Xenoblade Chronicles 3D gives a whole new meaning to the term, "standing on the shoulders of giants." This adaptation of the Wii classic has you take control of a young man, Shulk, searching for answers about his mysterious weapon, the Monado Blade. The game takes place on a world made up of the fallen forms of two titans Bionis and Mechonis. Bionis is home to the biological life forms and Mechonis is home to the mechanical life forms.
The Sword Coast Legends team has released a pair of background biographies on two of the companions that will be featured in Sword Coast Legends, Illydia, an elven cleric and Larethar Gulgrin, a gold dwarf rogue. The bios give some background on the companion, general information about each one’s race, and a picture too.
Guild Wars 2 players looking to get a look at one of the most anticipated features of the forthcoming Heart of Thorns expansion will have a chance to do so for 24-hours on April 24th. During the special event, all players can log into Heart of Thorns and try out the Stronghold PvP feature shipping with the expansion.
The Dark Age of Camelot team has published the first-ever monthly update for the game and it is packed with all sorts of interesting information and links to what has been going on in the last month, as well as a peek ahead at what players can expect to see coming in the near future.
During Season 10 in Star Trek Online, players of all factions will be banding together to stop the Iconian threat. As part of the reward system for assisting in the endeavor, players can earn Iconian Marks by completing repeatable queued events that feature the Iconian Heralds. More Marks can be earned if players choose to scale the event to a higher level and successfully complete the event.
