The number one term applied to the development of Crowfall so far seems to be the H-word. Almost a year later, SWTOR’s status has become an increasing question of debate as the new movies approach and the announcement that there will be a Cantina Tour stop at Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, CA.
General: Not So MMO – The Games that Almost Make the Cut
Multiplayer gaming isn’t what it used to be. Yes, MMORPGs have cornered the market on truly massive numbers, but there are a lot of games out there that feature the ability to play with large (but not quite massive) groups of players or smaller, tight-knit groups of friends, similar to what a MMO player would do while raiding. While I am a huge fan of "true" MMOs, I just as often enjoy logging in for some quick action or fun roleplay with a more immediate game.

Dying Light: Hard Mode Incoming
The Dying Light team has some big plans for the coming months, not the least of which is the announcement that hard mode is incoming as a direct result of player feedback. Hard mode will be implemented in the first update and will feature night time play, bigger, harder, stronger monsters, an increased need for silence and stealth, and more that the team is keeping up their sleeve for the time being.

General: Blast from the Past (Kinda) – Atari’s Asteroids: Outpost
Fans of the old arcade classic "Asteroids" will be happy to hear that Atari is resurrecting the IP in a sense with the newly announced Asteroids: Outpost, an open world sandbox survival MMO. The game will feature players gathering resources, staking claims, crafting equipment and protecting all their worldly (or otherworldly) goods.
Star Trek Online: Tier 6 Command Battlecruisers Introduced
The Star Trek Online site has been updated with a new post that introduces the forthcoming Tier 6 Command Battlecruisers. The Command Captain Specialization tree and Command Bridge Officers were recently introduced into STO during its anniversary update and, according to the blog post, players will be able to take full advantage of these new features with a Command Battlecruiser.
