This week, Elder Scrolls Online rocked our newsfeeds with the bombshell that the game would be going buy-to-play before its summer console launch. Earlier this week, we posted our musings about Sony Online Entertainment’s acquisition by Columbus Nova and transition to Daybreak Game Company. It’s big news for fans of SOE…err…DGC’s games, particularly when considering the potential for seeing their titles released on platforms other than PC and PS3/PS4.

Anytime a new game is announced, the Hype Meters spike with the flood of information, speculation and downright hope that this new game will fill the void that the players feel between games. Crowfall from ArtCraft Entertainment appears to be no different. The question remains however: will the Crow fall or fly as they continue to provide more and more detail of what their game aims to be and which voids they intend to fill?
Ubisoft has announced that the official launch day for The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot has finally arrived for PC. During a very successful beta run, the team took into account player concerns and feedback to bring several features into the game including crafting, open creation, barricades, new traps, rare creatures and clans.
Those curious to see what Das Tal is all about need wait no longer. Fairytale Distillery is offering players a free glimpse at the game on Sunday, February 8th. Interested fans can sign up on the game site and be able to participate in 24-hours of Das Tal goodness.
The Cryptic team will be on hand during a special Neverwinter live stream to show off the game on XBox One. The operational XBox One beta is expected to begin later today and players are invited to apply and to attend tomorrow’s stream event. The team will be on hand to answer questions from the community regarding the beta and about Neverwinter itself.
During a recent streaming event, Atlus showed off game play from the upcoming RPG, Persona 5. Persona 5 is being developed for both the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation 4. Atlus has indicated that Persona 5 will be available later this year. Check out the video and let us know what you think.
