Everyone has a fighting chance
The first time I logged into Trove I didn’t get it. After getting through character creation I quickly found myself going into a lowbie area meant for levels 1-3. As soon as I got there I was lost. There were no instructions, people were scattered all over the map and I had no idea where to start. I ran around the map for a few hours trying to work out what to and mining anything that looked interesting that was in my path. Needless to say I didn’t accomplish much that first time.
Thanks to the addition of the new "Legends PVE" game mode, DC Universe Online’s users can now play as one of several iconic characters in several of the game’s group instances. Prior to this time, players could only take on the persona of these characters during Legends PvP.
Players in The Settlers Online have a new round of festive holiday events in which to participate thanks to the most recent update. Players can get into the holiday spirit by decorating their islands and even stepping into Santa’s shoes in a winter wonderland.
ArenaNet has announced that the Guild Wars 2 Living Story Season 2 will make its return on January 13, 2015. The story will pick up as the assembled heroes are ready to break the seal on a mysterious cave. Between now and then, however, players will also be able to take part in the annual holiday events.
Good Gaming has announced that it will be hosting a special Amateur Open Tournament for Hearthstone that will include a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool. Good Gaming is focused on players of all ability levels joining the single-elimination tournament for a chance at the prize package.
From December 17th through January 16th, Perfect World International players will receive a free Illusionary Crystal via in-game mail that will instantly boost a single character to Level 95. This comes just as the latest expansion, Eclipse, is ready to launch.
Destiny players have a lot to look forward to with today’s release of the first expansion, The Dark Below. The expansion features key improvements including a level cap increase, new story missions, new weapons and equipment and much more.
Continent of the Ninth Seal players now have a new class with the addition of the Valkyrie. The Valkyrie brings a lot of versatility to C9 in that it specializes in both ranged and close melee combat with some impressive evasive maneuvers.
Aeria Games has sent out a new trailer for its upcoming MMO, Echo of Soul. The video goes into the game’s back story, an epic battle between Giants and Gods. Check out the video to learn more about how mortals join the fight.
