The final countdown to the All Hallow’s Eve is on and online game makers are celebrating with a host of seasonal events. Darkfall Unholy Wars is adding new Feats and special candy-dropping monsters, while ArcheAge and Kings and Legends are opting for new costumes, decor and a new Pumpkin Lord card, respectively.
The good news is, Tera’s continent of Arun is finally open. The bad news is, it’s under siege. The home city of the Barakan race is beset by a blood mage army and the native Khirians are in desperate need of help.
Hit wargame World of Warplanes this week added a new line of Tier 5 and higher Russian MiG fighters and revamped existing planes by adding a new multi-role class of warplanes.
From October 25 to October 31, strategy role-playing-game Age of Warriors is rewarding players with a special candy drop from exploring Battle Soul and summoning elements and Battles. Candy can be exchanged for the seasonal Pumpkin Lord outfit, the Haunted Pumpkin avatar, the Iron Ingot Chest or the Skill Books Package.

League of Legends is closing in on the one billion dollar mark for total revenue earned solely through microtransaction sales. This is up sharply from last year’s revenue total and puts them ahead of all other games worldwide, including last year’s earnings winner, Crossfire.
Marvel Heroes 2015 players who take advantage of today’s preorder Juggernaut, the fortieth hero to enter the game, will receive a nice package of in-game goodies for their trouble. Juggernaut is expected to arrive on the PTS later today and in-game in two weeks or so.
In an apparent nod to ongoing threats of litigation, the Seldon Crisis game, said to be loosely based around the works of Isaac Asminov, has been rebranded "Sudden Crisis". As part of the rebranding effort, a new Indiegogo fund raising initiative has started. According to the Sudden Crisis Facebook page, the game is largely the same, but with a new name.
