Lornsword Winter Chronicle is an RTS/ARPG hybrid from Tower Five that has only recently launched into Steam early access. I had an opportunity to check out a bit of the game. Path of Exile players are priming their gear and getting ready to take off for the next league that arrives later today. The Legion content expansion launches today for PC players and on June 10th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players. As always, there is new gear to chase and new gameplay systems to explore. In addition, and perhaps most notably, melee combat has been reworked and two new character archetypes have been added.

Starcraft FPS Reportedly Canceled to Grow Diablo 4 & Overwatch 2 Teams
This morning, we wrote about a now-former Blizzard developer who remarked that the game he had been working on for two years was canceled abruptly. This afternoon, Kotaku has obtained information from unnamed inside sources that the game was a Starcraft first-person shooter. The cancellation came as a shock to the devs working on it and happened in the past two weeks. Those who had been working on the Starcraft FPS are being moved to both the Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 teams.
