Dauntless Launches for True Cross Play Between PC, PS4 & XB1

Today’s a huge day for Dauntless players as it has officially launched into retail release complete with “true cross-play” between PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via the Epic Games Store. Players will be able to “take their Dauntless account with them wherever they go” regardless of platform. The launch proves Phoenix Labs’ commitment to cross-platform, cross-progression systems that allow players the freedom to play wherever they wish.

EVE Online: Infinite Galaxy Mobile Gameplay Trailer

EVE: infinite Galaxy is an upcoming mobile game that is being developed in cooperation between CCP Games and NetEase. At product showcase event yesterday, NetEase released a trailer revealing gameplay for the upcoming mobile title that includes “resource gathering, production, trading, equipment” alongside combat.

Terminally Ill Fan Will Get to Play Borderlands 3 in June

One Borderlands 3 fan with terminal cancer will be playing Borderlands 3 in June. Trevor Eastman had taken to the Borderlands 3 Reddit last month to talk about his diagnosis with esophageal, stomach and liver cancer and to ask fellow Redditors to help him reach out to Gearbox and 2K to play the game early. As a result of the collective effort, Eastman said that representatives will be flying out with a copy of the game for him to play. “Thank you all for making this dream come true,” he wrote.

Sony Presentation Compares PlayStation 4 to the Upcoming PlayStation 5

Takashi Mochizuki from the Wall Street Journal has sent out a video from an investor relation meeting with a video showcasing the differences between the PlayStation 4 and the upcoming PlayStation 5. The video highlights performance differences between the two consoles using Spider-Man as the test subject. Viewers will no doubt notice the much faster loading times for the PS5 and that traveling at high speeds does not cause “hitching” issues.

World of Tanks: Mercenaries for both XBox One and PlayStation 4 has received a beefy new update that includes a new RTS mode, new game features and much more. The additions to content were made in response to player feedback on the UI and tank customization. Players also requested the return of Commander Mode, the RTS-style event.

Over a Million Captains Set Sail in World of Warships: Legends on Consoles

Wargaming is celebrating over a million captains setting sail in World of Warships: Legends on PlayStation 4 and XBox One. As part of the celebration, Wargaming will be introducing a new in-game campaign and some free goodies for players “to give an in-game boost”. Those who complete the Atlanta Campaign will earn the USS Atlanta for their personal fleet.

MU Online’s Tenth Anniversary Event Begins with Special Event Rewards & More

MU Online is pulling out all the stops for its tenth anniversary event with prizes, special anniversary boxes for all players and much more. Players will be able to collect Summoning Scroll Fragments that can be used to create Evomon Summoning Scrolls used to summon an Evomon. There are a number of in-game shop deals as well, including discounts on Goblin Points and the 10th Anniversary Premium Boxes.

Keep Your Eye on BattleNet: The First World of Warcraft Classic Stress Test is This Week

Blizzard devs will be adding lots of World of Warcraft Classic players ahead of the first stress test event that will take place on Wednesday, May 22nd from 4:00 – 6:00 pm Pacific / 7:00 – 9:00 pm Eastern. The Classic closed beta realm will be offline during the stress test, but CBT players can log into the special realm being set up for the stress test. Those who wish to participate will need to have opted in to Classic beta testing via their account profile.
