Final Fantasy XIV: Mounts & the Letter from the Producer

Over the past week I have been busy working on my questline with Noctis, as well as farming MGP at the Gold Saucer to get the 200k MGP Regalia. Note that prior to this event I have truly never bothered with the Gold Saucer, I had my work cut out for me. Granted it wasn’t exactly hard to amass 200k MGP with the easy Fashion Report’s the last couple weeks but having to learn all the mechanics for Lord of Vermillion and Triple Triad was unique to say the least.

The Next Darkfall: Rise of Agon Update to Include Full Freemium Edition & More

The next Darkfall: Rise of Agon update is going to include the full release of the “freemium” edition of the game with some changes due to player feedback. For instance, the reduction in skill progression speed has been eliminated for free players and much more. In addition, players will find that the in-game browser has been overhauled, the dye system will be included and several tweaks have been made to armor and combat.

MapleStory Fest Was a Big Hit with a New Class Announced for MapleStory 2

This past weekend’s MapleStory Fest 2019 was a big hit. The sold out show featured cosplay events, developer panels, prize giveaways, influencer meet and greets and announcements for both MapleStory and MapleStory 2. Most notably, MapleStory 2 players learned that the Striker class is coming to MapleStory 2 on May 30th and new content creator programs were announced for both games.

Atom RPG to Receive Big New Update on May 29th

On May 29th, Atom RPG will be receiving a large update that is anchored by new above- and below-ground locations, new characters to interact with, new monsters, a variety of new quests, new gear, quality of life improvements and fixes to animations, sounds, portraits and loading screens.

Emberlight is an Upcoming Rogue-like Dungeon Crawler Headed to Steam

Emberlight is a forthcoming rogue-like dungeon crawler that is headed to Steam on August 13th. The game features procedurally generated dungeons and sends players off on a number of quests “in the name of the Ember Order”. Players will need to absorb enemy abilities as they race through the dungeon. As enemy abilities are absorbed, they are synthesized into Ember Powers that can corrupt the player’s soul. The most corrupted will kill off their former team members at the end of a dungeon run.

Check Out the PS4 Monster Hunter World Free Trial Until May 20th

From now through May 20th, PlayStation 4 players can take advantage of a free trial version of Monster Hunter World. Players can game with everyone, including full-version owners, and check out the “opening section of the full version” with “nearly all of the story, quests, armor and upgrades”. Those who choose to purchase MHW will have progress retained.

Scarlet Tears Event to Begin in Blade & Soul on May 15th

From May 15th to June 19th, Blade & Soul players will be able to take part in the Scarlet Tears event in celebration of the upcoming Scarlet Conservatory raid. Players will take part in a number of phases during the event, each of which sees them rewarded with Polished Scale Fragments that are used to purchase items in the Dragon Express. Items include the 2018 Cosmetic Design Contest costume and the Reborn & Cryo Phoenix Weapon Illusion.
