The Final Fantasy XIV site has been updated with a new blog post to show off some of the fantastic concept art created for the Return to Ivalice alliance raid series. The works were all created by Keita Amemiya, the Executive Director of the GARO series. The post is filled with both black and white and full color designs. For those who love the artistic side of gaming, it’s a must-read.
Take Part in EVE Online’s 16th Anniversary with Daily Log In Rewards
From May 2nd to May 20th, EVE Online capsuleers can take part in the game’s 16th anniversary celebration. As part of the festivities, players can get hold of in-game rewards on a daily basis thanks to the log-in event. All rewards can be claimed if players log in for 16 of the days available. Alpha and Omega players can claim all rewards, “although the Omega rewards are a bit more valuable”.
ECHOcast Twitch Extension Lets You Earn Borderlands 3 Loot Long Before Launch
Starting May 1st, Twitch.tv users will find the new Borderlands 3 ECHOcast extension that will allow them to potentially earn loot and items for the game long ahead of its September release. “This extension will not only allow Twitch viewers to interact with livestreams of Borderlands 3 in exciting new ways, it will also give viewers opportunities to score their own in-game items by participating in events with other viewers right there in the stream.”

More Than a Few Bungie Developers Have Left Recently – Should Destiny 2 Players Worry?
According to a new report over at GameRant, more than a few Destiny 2 developers have left Bungie lately, including Design Lead Joe Blackburn, Senior Writer Jill Scharr, and “sandbox designers” Josh Hamrick, Jon Weisnewski and Claude Jerome. While Blackburn said that his time with Bungie was “amazing”, he was offered an opportunity in Santa Monica, CA that he could not pass up. Others who have left have expressed similar thoughts.

Minecraft Players Help Mojang Donate $100,000 to Charity: Water
Minecraft players have helped developer Mojang to donate $100,000 to Charity: Water. Mojang committed to a $10,000 donation, but promised players it would donate an additional $90,000 if the free Travelling Trader skin and map pack was downloaded 100,000 times. Less than a day later, players had risen to the challenge. Charity: Water will be able to serve over 3,300 people who do not currently have access to clean water as a result of the donation.

Elder Scrolls Online & the Art of Necromancy
In a new blog post on the Elder Scrolls Online site, developers provide readers with a look at necromancy, the new class coming with the Elsweyr expansion this summer. The blog begins with a bit of backstory from Leamon Tuttle, ESO’s new Loremaster. According to Tuttle, necromancy “has existed in Tamriel for a long time before the events of ESO, but despite its long history, the practice of necromancy is, broadly speaking, forbidden”.
