The latest developer diary has surfaced on the Armored Warfare site to give player insight into how the delicate balance between historicity and inclusion is maintained. Each vehicle is weighed in the balance for both appropriateness and fun — no one likes a one-shot death.
Obsidian Entertainment and My.com have announced that Founder’s Packs are now available for purchase that will grant automatic entry into the first early access event currently scheduled for May 27th – June 3rd. Three Founder’s Packs are available: $14.99, 29.99 and $69.99, each with its own set of in-game items and swag.
Obsidian Entertainment’s been paying attention to player feedback, and the result of that are a range of improvements to Armored Warfare’s Artillery mechanics.
Obsidian Entertainment has posted a new blog post on the Armored Warfare site that lays out the details on matchmaking as it will appear in the game. Of particular note is the assertion that matchmaking will be based on a battle rating rather than a static system of tank tiers.
My.com Senior Producer Josh Morris is on hand in a new video for Armored Warfare enthusiasts as he takes fans on a tour of the five vehicle classes that will arrive with the game. The video is packed with game play footage of the battle tanks, light tanks, armored fighting vehicles, tank destroyers, and self-propelled guns. Morris provides pretty detailed information about the relative strengths and weakness of each vehicle. Check it out!
