Players assert that well-known hackers are making trial accounts in order to cheat and are being paid for their effort by those looking for high win counts and in-game currency.
On April 3rd, four new classes will be added to the XBox One version of Black Desert. These include Striker, Dark Knight, Lahn and Musa. To celebrate the announcement, the XB1 team released a brief preview video.
After today’s maintenance, Black Desert Online players will have new springy activities to participate in. New content includes the Blooming Blossoms event that will run from March 21st through April 10th and will allow players to trade event currency for “amazing rewards”. In addition, the Plant-a-Tree event kicks off today and runs through April 3rd. Players can purchase a Cherry Blossom Seed from the Pearl Shop (1 Loyalty) to plant at their residence.
Black Desert for XBox One has been updated less than ten days after it fully launched on the console. The Mediah content update brings a new region, gear, and features as well as a console-exclusive storyline alongside the usual quests that come with the regional addition.
From now through April 10th, Black Desert Online players will have the opportunity to take part in the Glimmering Old Moon event. During the special Challenges, players will collect event items that are said to assist in the “pursuit for TRI accessories”.
A new feature somewhat similar to “try before you buy” has entered Black Desert Online. Players can have up to three Trial Characters on their account that offers a high-level experience in Battle Arena, Red Battlefield, Arena of Arsha and Savage Rift. These Trial Characters come with 4,000 Skill Points and a special Battle Arena NPC offers a variety of gear for a single silver each.
Today’s the big day as Black Desert has officially launched on XBox One. Players can purchase the base game for $10 or check out three other packages (Standard – $30, Deluxe – $50, or Ultimate – $100), each with their own in-game goodies.
From today through March 13th, players who take part in the Black Desert Online Shadow Arena battle royale experience and defeat five other players will “be rewarded with a copy of the game ($9.99 value)” just for their effort. The promotion is in celebration of Black Desert’s third anniversary. Other events include a special quest series that rewards a +15 Cliff’s weapon, a Special Card collecting mini-game that rewards in-game goodies and more.
Late last night, Black Desert Online players came together to memorialize a comrade named “Pillowpunch” who recently passed away. Black Desert developers sent out a Twitter post with the details and later posted a series of screenshots of the well-attended event on the game’s Facebook page. Guild members thanked the devs and the community for their support for “him and his extended online family”.
