WBA lightweight champion Richar Abril’s title defence against Britain’s Derry Mathews next month is off after the Cuban withdrew with suspected dengue fever.

Mikkel Kessler has retired from boxing after 17 years as a pro.
The former WBA/WBC super middleweight champion announced the news via a post on Twitter.
“Thank you for supporting me through out my career. It has been an absolute pleasure stepping into the ring, home as well as abroad,” it read.
