Bethesda surprised everyone this week with a Twitch stream featuring nothing but the Fallout Vault Boy, naturally leading gamers to speculate on what was likely to be a new Fallout game announcement. But what could it be? The possibilities ran across the board, from a brand new Fallout RPG to the meme-worthy suggestions that Bethesda was going to announce Skyrim playable on your Pip-Boy in Fallout 4.
I recently got the opportunity to test out a new, open-world, narrative-driven RPG/Survival game called Smoke and Sacrifice and have been really enjoying my time in the game. If you’re a fan of games that don’t hold your hand, feeling like the underdog that rises above, gorgeous graphics and “Don’t Starve”-like gameplay then I suggest you check out our review.
The Merc with a Mouth has taken over Marvel Strike Force in a new update deployed to coincide with the release of Deadpool 2 and I couldn’t be more excited. Truth be told, I’m not a huge Deadpool fan, he’s great in small doses, but I’ve got to say both the new content and the character have been on point.

Way back in 2013 the then new game developer company, Undead Labs, produced its first game for the Xbox 360 with a port to PC later, State of Decay. While at times buggy, it was a great game that delved into the zombie survival genre and made its mark. Now we have State of Decay 2, a sequel that promises to do more than the original and quite possibly scratch that zombie itch. This is our State of Decay 2 review.
Anyone who’s played Marvel Strike Force long enough is likely familiar with all of the meta characters at this point, but there are quite a few characters that can shine in specific compositions or other areas of the game that you really shouldn’t sleep on. Let’s go through a couple of ’em today.
Eden Rising: Supremacy is, as far as I know, a first of its kind. From Nvizzio, it’s a persistent world co-op open world Action RPG tower defense game. It’s equal parts Orcs Must Die and Conan Exiles, but without the dong slider. There’s no thirst, hunger, or any other survival mularkey, and yet the game sets you out to explore, gather, and craft in the name of defending your home base. It’s addictive, difficult, and should be on your radar if you like co-op action games with persistent worlds.
In game design it is always a race to the finish. Usually when it comes to game genres or types of ideas there are several titles trying to hit the market all at once. Boss Key Production had Lawbreakers which was its premiere title. The game was set to go into the arena shooter line up against: Overwatch, Paragon, Battleborn, and several others. This was no easy task.
