The Dauntless team has posted the patch notes for today’s “Evolving Wildlands” update that bring a lot of changes to the zones closest to the Ramsgate. Players will find notable improvements to behemoths as well as new weapon attacks and combos alongside bug fixes and feature enhancements.

The Dauntless team has released a video preview of the Sharpen Your Skills update coming to the game. In it, players will be able to face off against a pair of new behemoths, to check out new combat features, participate in the overhauled matchmaking system and be able to grab new gear and try out new character customization.

This new fighting weapon is a versatile polearm that brings unique attacks as well as explosive ranged blasting damage to every battle. War Pikes will be added in next month’s Sharpen Your Skills update.

Players who have purchased a $40+ Founder’s Pack can now download the Dauntless client and get started. The Founders’ Alpha will run 24/7 from today through August 31st. The closed beta is expected to kick off on September 1st.
