Bradford laments not learning from his own mistakes when playing EVE Online in this edition of our fireside MMO chats.

Rarely is our writer Jason presented with an opportunity to start a game on one console and finish it on its successor, but that is exactly what happened with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Take a look at his thoughts about the major differences that have stuck out, as well as how this has changed his mindset with games in general as a result.

For us in the United States (and really anyone who wants an excuse to eat tons of food), today is Thanksgiving Day. Though, it goes without saying that this year is going to be very different than many of us are used to. So how are you celebrating, and if you’re gaming, what are you diving into today?

It’s launch day for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, and like many people I’m looking forward to seeing the expansion go live this evening. However, I normally haven’t been getting too excited lately at expansion launches in MMOs. Do you still get excited at expansion launches, and what was the last one?

The Elder Scrolls Online’s Markarth DLC wraps up the vampire-laden tale that kicked off with last May’s Greymoor chapter, and on the face of it, that means it’s more Greymoor. And that’s precisely why I was wary of going in. Greymoor served as a welcome excuse to romp around in one of the more memorable zones from 2011’s The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but a mediocre story and the twin fangs of bugs and performance issues sucked most of the vitality from the experience.

We’re still working on our full thoughts, but here is our review in progress of the new Saga in the Assassin’s Creed franchise.
