This last Tuesday Valve employee Alden Kroll published a blog article addressing the issue of review bombing and their response to the problem. This is family meeting time. No, you’re not in trouble – we all are. I’m not going to yell at you, but this going to be like eating your green beans: you may not like it, but it’s good for you and might make you a wee bit gassy.

In the short hand? Yes, I’d say NetEase’s Crusaders of Light is worth your time, now that it’s out today on iOS and Android. Like Order and Chaos (1 and 2), CoL aims to replicate what theme park MMORPG players love about their PC favorites, with the ease of access and portability of mobile gaming. But, as we well know, sometimes games meant for hundreds of hours on a PC don’t translate well to smartphone or tablet.

I’m writing my review of the Razer Hammerhead V2 Bluetooth Headphones while I use them to catch up on the Flash episodes I’ve missed, and play the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 soundtrack. That right there, could probably be enough of a review if you’re just looking for an endorsement, but let’s dive into the details – the pros, cons, and what the set will cost you if you’re tempted.

Vikings: Wolves of Midgard is an upcoming action RPG for Windows PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One and PS4. It will set players on adventure through the world built around Scandinavian mythology sprinkled with fantasy and filled with many familiar characters and memorable places from it. As far as I am concerned, there are not enough Viking games out there. Ever wanted to visit Niflheim or take battle to the Jotans? Then this might be just the game for you.

I’m sure it came with noble intentions. NCSOFT knows how much hurt is still felt by the too-soon closure of Cryptic/Paragon’s City of Heroes. So when they saw a chance to bring a beloved character from that IP into their upcoming all-star MOBA, they probably leapt at the idea. “We can make those fans happy!” they said. “We can make this game appealing in the West at the same time!” they exclaimed. But that’s not quite how it’s being seen by the community.

Ragnarok Journey is the latest sort of “remake” of the original Ragnarok Online. Played entirely in the browser, it turns out to be a faithful recreation of the original. But note to prospective players – turn off the auto-pathing if you want to actually play the game.

Let It Die, like so many games from Goichi Suda’s mind (Suda 51) is one crazy experience. It’s a game, inside a game. It’s also an online asynchronous MMORPG (think the ill-fate Mighty Quest for Epic Loot or the Sleeping Dogs spin-off Triad Wars). You play a nameless and faceless protagonist in a bar, and your only guide in life and the game/s is a Finnish skateboarder named Uncle Death.
