Time flies when you’re having fun right? Well, it feels like time has gone into light speed. Didn’t we just have The Dark Brotherhood DLC release? We’re already starting to see what is in the next update, aka Update 11. If you don’t believe me that this update is going to be huge, keep reading and if you want to test out everything you’ve read here and more, well, get on the PTS and start checking it out.

The Elder Scrolls Online site has been updated with the first detailed information about Update 11: Shadows of the Hist. Update 11 will be released for PC and Mac on August 1st and on August 16th for XBox One and PlayStation 4.

Expanding its already successful deployment of Elder Scrolls Online, Zenimax announced yesterday that its fully localized version of the game has launched in Japan. The launch came about after a year’s work with Japanese partner DMM. All elements of the game from text to UI elements to voice overs have all been translated into Japanese.

E3 has come and gone, but not without some big news from Zenimax, Bethesda, and Elder Scrolls Online. We caught up with ESO’s Game Director Matt Firor to discuss the news out of E3, the next big update “Shadows of the Hist”, and what the future may hold for Tamriel.

During last week’s E3, Zenimax’s Matt Firor teased the next DLC for Elder Scrolls Online and today we’ve learned the first information about Update 11: Shadows of the Hist. Most notably, Shadows of the Hist will feature a pair of new dungeons and the ability for players to change race or appearance along with new hairstyles and adornments.

The Elder Scrolls Online was always supposed to be an Elder Scrolls game that allows you to play with friends, but that was never the case. Sure, you could play with your friends, if they were your level, if they were the same faction. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve rolled a new character just to play with a friend. At the BE3 event, Matt Firor announced that these invisible barriers will be removed this fall when they launch, One Tamriel.

The Dark Brotherhood DLC for Elder Scrolls Online has officially launched for XBox One players. PlayStation 4 players will need to wait until tomorrow to get their hands on the latest DLC for the game. The Dark Brotherhood is included for ESO Plus members or can be purchased for 2,000 crowns in the ESO Crown Store.

Matt Firor has announced that Elder Scrolls Online will launch in Japan. The team also discussed the system of One Tamriel will allow players to join together in adventures by removing level restrictions for players to enter different lands together.

The Dark Brotherhood is Elder Scrolls Online’s latest DLC pack. Centered squarely on the eponymous assassin’s guild of Tamriel, it’s been a long awaited addition to the game since its original launch.
