The Thieves Guild was released just a short while ago. If you’ve spent any time progressing through the storyline or advancing through the Thieves Guild passive skill lines you may have noticed this DLC isn’t anything like the previous two. That said, it does display one major aspect that is missing.

Leveling up through an MMORPG is probably one of the best experiences. It’s all about improving your character, learning new skills, trying different styles to see which one you like best or which is the most effective. Yet once you hit level cap that journey is finished, you’re no longer advancing your character with the exception of gear. ESO was supposed to change this mentality with the ability to morph skills as you got better.

Elder Scrolls Online has expanded again with the arrival of the Thieves Guild DLC. To celebrate the launch of Thieves Guild, devs have sent out a brand new video that features gameplay in the new location of Abah’s Landing.

The Theives Guild launches today, March 7th for PC and Mac, and later this month for XB1 and PS4. To celebrate the launch, we caught up with Game Director Matt Firor to chat about the content of this DLC, and how it’ll tie into the forthcoming Dark Brotherhood…

The latest ‘deep dive’ article has appeared on the Elder Scrolls Online site that gives players some new information about overall improvements coming to Cyrodil when the Thieves Guild DLC goes live. Most notably, performance improvements, optimizations to ability cost checks, armor bonuses and how abilities work with the Champion System will be included.

The latest Crown Store Showcase has been published on the Elder Scrolls Online site that shows off some of the new or returning items in the in-game shop. This month there is a new costume pack, two new pets, Assistants and more.

I’ve been spending a lot of my free time on the PTS playing the Thieves Guild, so much that when I logged into the live servers today I had been removed from my Trading Guild. Perhaps, I need to properly manage my game time a bit better. While playing on the PTS I’ve come to realize something, something that I’m not particularly happy about and it’s more of an observation than a realization but it’s still upsetting. Zenimax hates healers.

The Elder Scrolls Online site has been updated with a news post to let players know that a new loyalty reward is incoming. With each new DLC, and grandfathered in for Orsinium and Thieves Guild, a reward pet can be earned either by purchasing the DLC from the Crown Store or by being an ESO Plus member and then entering the new area. The pet will automatically be sent.
