The Dark Brotherhood may be chiefly about assassinations and doing bad things in the shadows, but that doesn’t mean the next DLC for Elder Scrolls Online is only about murder… well, unsanctioned murder. The Imperial City itself is getting some spiffy new additions and changes in the Dark Brotherhood and we spoke with PVP Lead Brian Wheeler about what’s to come…

You can hear the faint sounds of hundreds of conversations happening at once in the town square. It a busy day for the vendors in Wayrest. A dog barks as a person walks pass, a strong breeze whisks through the alleyway, it’s as if the city fell silent for a fraction of a second and all that was heard was the blood bubbling from the throat of your victim, his lifeless body falling to the cobble path and the clamor of the city begins again.

Zenimax has laid out some new information about the next Elder Scrolls Online DLC, Dark Brotherhood. Players will be joining the elite assassins and head to locations that, according to the team, have not been seen since The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Straight out of PAX East, the team has announced that the forthcoming Elder Scrolls Online DLC, Dark Brotherhood, will be heading to the PTS beginning Monday, April 25th!

Zenimax has released the first information about the next DLC coming to Elder Scrolls Online. While no release date has been announced, we do know that the Dark Brotherhood will be taking center stage in the DLC along with a host of new content focused on the Gold Coast and a new Dark Brotherhood-specific passive skill line, unique costumes, motifs and item sets also inspired by those with a talent for homicide.

Communication is key when it comes to letting players know more about Elder Scrolls Online. There is no such thing as too much communication but there is such thing as not enough communication. Not enough communication is something that a lot of players are accusing Zenimax of. But is it true and if it’s not true, how much information as players do we deserve?

Matt Firor has posted a second anniversary retrospective about Elder Scrolls Online. in it, he reminisces about the game’s first two years and how much it has grown since it debuted. Rather than write about each of the accomplishments over the past year, Matt takes players down a visual memory lane with screenshots galore.

From April 4th through April 10th, Elder Scrolls Online players will have an opportunity to participate in the game’s second anniversary. Developers have lots of cool things for players to take part in including a voucher for a cake from the Crown Store that will kick off the Ache for Cake quest. The reward? A Jubilee Cake to take a proud slot in the Mementos collection and that will provide a 100% XP buff that stacks with others.

XBox One & PlayStation 4 players can now get their hands on the latest Elder Scrolls Online DLC thanks to today’s release of Thieves Guild. Players with ESO Plus membership score the DLC for free or it can be purchased separately in the ESO Crown Store for 2000 Crowns.
