According to a new post in answer to player questions about deploying the Elder Scrolls Online Update 6, Zenimax has indicated that it is shooting for the last week in February to bring the massive patch into the game.

I’ve sat idly by enjoying all the fantastic content and changes that ZOS has been doing to the game but there are areas of The Elder Scrolls Online that haven’t seen any love since the launch of the game almost a year ago and they need to be addressed.

For those who can’t wait another minute for Elder Scrolls Online Update 6, tomorrow can’t come soon enough. The team has revealed that Update 6 will hit the Public Test Server on Tuesday, January 27th. In addition, the massive patch notes will be published that day to give even more detail to the big changes in store with the next big patch.
Elder Scrolls Online: New Mounts, Costumes & Pets Showcased
The Elder Scrolls Online site has been updated with a bevy of in-game images of new mounts, costumes and pets that will be added to the game shortly. Costumes range from a jester to a wedding gown and everything in between. Panthers and hounds are among the pets, with new horses and guars rounding out the mounts.
Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited – The Surprises & Questions of B2P
So here we are, as reported earlier, The Elder Scrolls Online will be rebranded as he Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited as of March 17th on PC, with the console versions released in June under the same format. Buying the game will allow access to the full content released before the rebranding, and "downloadable content" will be included with the now optional subscription.

The rumors can end now, folks. It’s official, as of this moment in time. Elder Scrolls Online is ditching its subscription model in favor of a model more akin to Guild Wars 2. Simply buy the base game, gain access to all of its content, and never pay another dime. In addition, the PS4 and XBOX One Editions will be launching officially on June 9th.
