The Fall Classic 2014 Capcom Pro Tour Ultra Street Fighter IV Replays

The Ultra Street Fighter IV tournament at the Fall Classic 2014 represented the final Capcom Pro Tour qualifier for the United States. As such a good number of top players were in attendance fighting for that final slot such as SnakeEyez, EG|PR Balrog, EG|Ricky Ortiz, EG|KBrad, Twitch|Mike Ross, eSports Max|Tampa Bison, PIE|Smug, r/Kappa.FGC|Pepeday and RZR|Xian.

For those who missed the action at the event, top 16 matches have now been uploaded onto the Capcom Fighters YouTube channel. We’ve shared the finals matches from these below, you can check out the rest over at the official playlist.

Wednesday Night Fights 2014 4.1 feat. Ultra Street Fighter IV, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Injustice: Gods Among Us, and Mortal Kombat Streaming Live from Super Arcade

The folks over at Level|Up Series have just gone live with the beginning of Wednesday Night Fights’ fourth 2014 season, broadcasting from the newly-renovated Super Arcade in Walnut, California. Some of SoCal’s top talent will be in attendance to compete in Ultra Street Fighter IV, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, and Injustice: Gods Among Us.

In addition to the tournaments, Wednesday Night Fights will also feature another intense Ultra Street Fighter IV grudge match, this time between BROKENTIER’s Jay “Viscant” Snyder and Low Tier God.

Feel free to visit the venue tonight or in the future if you’d like spectate or participate in any of the games available. The address has been included below.

For their latest Ultra Street Fighter IV player spotlight, Olympic Gaming turns to New York, one of the biggest hotspots for fighting games in the East Coast to take a look at one of their rising stars – Jeron Grayson, better known as Empire Arcadia’s Hiro.

Smash @ Xanadu feat. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Streaming Live

The folks over at VG BootCamp recently went live with another installment of Smash @ Xanadu from Xanadu Games in Baltimore, Maryland. These weekly broadcasts provide a great look at the region’s Smash community, with tonight’s stream focusing entirely on Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

Check Out Over 2 Hours Of Footage of Jin Kazama in the Hands of Players In Tekken 7

After being first discovered as a hidden sub-boss, Jin Kazama is now playable in the arcade version of Tekken 7. Jin returns with most of his moveset from previous games, but with a few notable replacements to help him better use the new combo system.

For those interested to see how he plays, GuntamaMiraclein has uploaded over 2 hours worth of arcade footage from Koenji Game Studio Cube of Jin at the hands of players in both practice mode and online battle mode.

In addition to this, Sangjin Park has shared some footage of Jin in training mode, trying out some possible combo routes.

Jin Kazama is merely the first of Tekken 7’s many time release characters. The second one, Devil Jin will be available on April 7.

Fikra Bringing the Heat Back to the Middle East this May with Kuwait Battle Royale Spring Edition 2015

Fikra is looking to bring things back this May with Kuwait Battle Royale Spring Edition 2015. The tournament will be hosted as a part of the GAME Expo (GX) 2015 in West Mishref, and will feature three titles: Ultra Street Fighter IV, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

What exactly is GX like? Check out Fikra’s video report from last year’s event below to get a glimpse of the passion of gamers in the Middle East.
