Here’s some Omen of Sorrow footage from Treta Championship 2017, feat. Brian Kasugano and ETC|McFly

Last time we saw Omen of Sorrow, it was at an exhibition match at First Attack 2017. Since then, AOne has brought the game to another Latin American event: Treta Championship 2017.

At Treta Championship 2017, an Omen of Sorrow exhibition match was held featuring Brian Kasugano, and ETC|McFly. The former used Vladislav and Caleb, while the latter went with Gabriel, while also picking up Caleb as well.

For those interested in how the exhibition played out, AOne has shared the footage of it — which you can watch below.

There are some durability issues with the Playstation 4 controller, and KS Tali provides the solution

People who have gone through a few PlayStation 4 controllers while trying to level up their game can certainly understand the frustration of having to buy pricey Dual Shock 4 controllers on a regular basis. The controller certainly has some durability issues, and the culprit seems to lie in the build on their directional pad.

As KS Tali noticed when he cracked open his controller, he found that there were key difference in the build between the PS3 and PS4 directional pads. While the PS4 pad has small holes for the rubber contact sheet to fit into — making them more stable within the casing — there are issues with perforation around the contacts that cause them to fall apart quickly. His solution was to line up a PS4 contact sheet with a PS3 contact sheet, poke the required holes into the PS3 contact sheet, and place that into his PS4 controller — thus making his PS4 controller much more durable.

Pictures showing the differences are shown below.

S.T.L.’s latest Tekken 7 combo video shows cross-ups mid juggle, back turn shenanigans, Lee buffs, and more!

There’s few combo makers in the Tekken community with the skill to manipulate side and back turned states quite like S.T.L. Their latest combo video is the strongest case yet for the creativity allowed in Tekken’s free-form juggle system: it’s impractical, technical, and flashy as hell.

Fans of Master Raven, Nina, Heihachi, Bryan, Akuma, and Lars will be pleased to see some re-wall splats and cross unders for their favorite characters. We also get to see S.T.L.’s hand with the recently buffed Lee Chaolan, in the form of his larger B+2 hitboxs and reduced push out on 4,U+3 mid juggle.

Git Gud Series discusses the multiple facets of training mode in Street Fighter V

Street Fighter V has one of the most functional training modes in fighting games today, and it is an often-underutilized portion of the game by newer players. Let’s face it, you can understand what you’re supposed to do in certain situations — but ultimately, practicing it is crucial to actually executing it. It’s nearly impossible to get the amount of practice you need in a real live match.

This is what the features explained in the Git Gud Series allows you to do — get the practice you need for your situational executions to become muscle memory. If you master all of these features, then you’ll have everything you need to prepare yourself for the real thing.

Fight with murderous intent using these hard knockdown setups for Akuma in Street Fighter V

Nothing can be more painful than being on the receiving end of insane amounts of damage off of a hard knockdown — unless of course, it’s done to you by Street Fighter V‘s Akuma. Then it’s brutal.

While some of his setups are similar to those of Ken’s, he still has some unique setups that do obscene damage in conjunction with his V-Trigger. He also has some insane setups with his Raging Demon, making sure your opponents die one thousand deaths for their insolence in pushing errant buttons.
