Even the Big Guys Have Team Aerial Combo Infinites in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

While we have seen tons of TAC Infinites with smaller, more mobile characters in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, it appears that that’s not all she wrote in finding infinites within the game’s system. Wolverine-Master has once again been tooling around in the lab, and found yet another infinite: this time one for one of the biggest bodies in the game, Hulk.

While it takes less reps to drop a character with one of UMvC3’s big bodies, this gives Hulk another guaranteed kill setup, should you land a TAC with the big green monster waiting in the wings. With Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 having some new life breathed into it via the PlayStation 4 release, it now becomes a question whether this new tech can become useful this late into the game’s lifespan.

Ryan Hart Joins the Advisory Board for the British Esports Association

As part of the government-backed British Esports Association, which attempts to “support, promote and instill good governance for amateur esports players and teams.” this national competitive gaming body has set up an advisory board to help guide the development of esports within the UK. Alongside representatives from companies like Twitch, veteran commentators and founders of certain esports organizations, FGC stalwart Ryan Hart has been picked to be part of this advisory board, acting as the main FGC representative out of the other selected members.

Ryan will sit on this board for the next 12 months, starting on January 2017, where the group will meet to discuss areas of UK esports which are in need of development, as well as a place to offer guidance on how those areas could be improved. With Ryan sitting on this council of other respected esports figures, he can hopefully grow the FGC in the UK and bring more large events to the country.

The British Esports Association’s first foray into the FGC was via the eGames Showcase in Rio de Janerio back in the summer, which saw representatives from the USA, Canada, the UK, Germany, Trinidad and Tobago, Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil battling it out in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Seeing the success of events like Capcom Cup, Evo 2016 and other massive FGC tournaments throughout 2016, let’s hope that more fighting games will be focused on by this Association, and that more big events will come as a result.

Continuing the Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite hype train isn’t too difficult now: everyone is talking about it, both positively and negatively. While many players are excited for a new Marvel title and are looking forward to getting their hands on the game in any form, others are apprehensive due to the return of 2 vs. 2 play and lack of assist mechanics.

When Yahoo! Esports asked some of the top players and figures in the FGC–including Ryan Hart, Problem X, Zhi, and Vicious–their reactions to the gameplay trailer, there were still some mixed responses to it, but mostly excitement for the new title.
