Prove Yourself! Ryu Masters Daigo Umehara and Tokido Clash in These Street Fighter V Matches

In Street Fighter V, BST|Daigo Umehara and Tokido both have chosen Ryu as their fighter of choice, and both have become renowned for the skillful play they bring to a character that–while very robust and usually near the top of SFV tier lists–doesn’t typically sit at the number one spot in tournament results. Last month, YogaFlame24 featured a face-off between these two giants, and now the fight continues in this compilation of over 18 minutes of online matches between The Beast and the “Murderface.”

Who’s Ryu is strongest? The answer lies in the heart of battle, of course!

See the Faces Behind the English Voice Cast in Street Fighter V

Often underappreciated, voice actors make a massive contribution to our games: the personality they inject into our favorite characters can make or break immersion–or enjoyment. Street Fighter V boasts a robust voice cast, and this game’s English versions of the character voices are quite good overall–if not better, in some characters’ cases–than their Japanese originals.

If you have any curiosity as to what the actors providing these voices might look like, check out the video below. YouTuber “Porfirios guarding this channel” has compiled photographs of the SFV actors, and paired them with their character and a voice selection to give an enlightening glimpse behind-the-scenes as to who we’re hearing during and between Street Fighter V’s battles and cinema scenes.

Leffen Returns to North America, Faces Further Adversity in Red Bull’s Cultivation: Leffen Episode 3

A true test of greatness is how someone bounces back from adversity. So what happens when someone has to deal with adversity within adversity itself? This question will be answered in Cultivation: Leffen Episode 3.

Leffen, who had been barred from competing for a year, returns to the North American Smash scene by way of Enthusiast Gaming Live Expo–or EGLX–in Toronto, Canada. While breezing through pools, Leffen finally faces difficulty in the brackets as he bumps into Tempo Storm’s Axe–a formidable Pikachu player–and Duck–a Samus main of which there is a dearth in Europe. In dealing with these players, Leffen also faces an internal struggle to stay focused and figure out if he is still a match for players who have consistently been training and improving in his absence.

To see what happens, jump over to Red Bull and catch the latest episode.

Ryan Hart Names His Top 15 Street Fighter V Players In Europe

Ryan Hart is arguably Europe’s most recognizable Street Fighter player. The “Prodigal Son” has multiple championships in multiple Street Fighter games and more than a few Guinness World Records to his name. As such, anything he says carries some weight within the community.

Recently, Hart has gone on Twitter with his list of who he thinks are the top 15 Street Fighter V players in Europe (including the Middle East). The list includes some familiar names such as Wilfried “Will2Pac” Jean-Baptiste, Arman “Phenom” Hanjani, Adel “BigBird” Anouche, and of course Evo 2014 champion Olivier “Luffy” Hay.

Quite surprising however is the fact that Hart has not included himself in his own list. This is an interesting omission considering that Hart is currently ranked #6 in on the European Capcom Pro Tour leaderboard–higher than a few of the names on his own list. According to Hart, this is because he doesn’t want to look “big headed” by including his name on his list. That said, more than a few other top players, including the global #2 ranked EG|Justin Wong have stated that he should belong on his own list.

You can check out Ryan Hart’s list below.
