Guild Wars 2: Profession Balance to be Addressed in Q1 2016

ArenaNet is committed to making sure that professions are balanced in Guild Wars 2, so much so that each will be watched closely with quarterly updates focusing on keeping things in check. In a new blog post by Karl McLain, the first series of balances changes are outlined for each class with implementation coming sometime in Q1 2016.

Guild Wars 2: A 2016 Wish List

Last month’s Wintersday Wish List was my attempt at singling out a few of the easier-to-address issues with Guild Wars 2. Today, I’m rolling up my sleeves and getting a little more muck on my arms, looking forward to 2016 and the kinds of tasks that might take a wee bit longer, if not a good portion of the year. First PvP League Season Kicks Off Today

ArenaNet has announced that the inaugural PvP League Season is beginning today that comes along with the latest update. Players can take part in any number of ways, including the Guild Challenger League: To participate here, players form groups of five and join the League. Match statistics are tracked and rated with matchmaking pitting similar ranked teams against one another.

Guild Wars 2: ‘Major WvW Overhaul’ Revealed in Cagey Reddit Post

Proving that ArenaNet does read players’ posts on various sites and social media platforms, Colin Johanson has taken to a Reddit thread bemoaning legendary effects for Engineers and announced that this was something the team would like to address in the future but that the focus right now is on "our major WvW overhaul", something that has apparently been in the works for over a year.
