Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the Heroes of the Storm Americas Championship will be held in Sin City, Las Vegas, Nevada on September 19th and 20th. Players from North America, Latin America, Australia/New Zealand, and Southeast Asia will be competing for over $100,000 in prizes and a trip to Blizzcon in November.
During today’s non-streamed Blizzard press event, it was revealed that three new heroes and a new battleground will be heading into Heroes of the Storm. The Diablo 3 monk, Kharazim, Warcraft’s Rexxar and Starcraft’s Artanis are the new heroes and the Infernal Shrines, a take from D3, is the new battleground.

As part of the launch party for Blizzard’s Heroes of the Storm last week, several graffiti artists got together to decorate a wall with some of the gaming giant’s most iconic characters. Called "Project Sprayhem", the mural was created by a team of three artist using over 1,300 cans of spray paint.
