‘Experimental Patch’ Arrives for Legends of Aria Test Server with Tons of New Features

The Legends of Aria test server has been updated with a new “experimental patch” that brings a number of new and retooled features into the game. Players can expect to find the reworked cooking and gardening systems as well as “a host of fixes and enhancements”. Players will also find the overhauled Allegiance system that includes a third Allegiance with its own ranks, events, rewards and more.

Legends of Aria Dev Blog Details Overhauled Cooking & Gardening Systems

The Legends of Aria site has been updated with a new developer diary that outlines some of the recent changes to both the Cooking and Gardening systems. The goal, according to game designer “Ben” was to provide more incentive for players to spend time leveling these activities in order to make it “highly desirable”, both in terms of enjoyment and profitability.

Legends of Aria Team Lays Out a Month’s Worth of Feedback Sessions

Throughout the month of April, the Legends of Aria team has plans for live community feedback sessions on Discord. Each of the four planned events will cover a specific topic to discuss and will be less Q&A and more centered on what players are “happy with, concerned about and ideas for changes” that they might like to see in the future.

Legends of Aria Players Invited to a Scavenger Hunt From February 15-17

From February 15th to February 17th, Legends of Aria players are invited to take part in a scavenger hunt called Relic of the Ancients. During the event, players will be tasked with deciphering clues to discover constantly changing “hot spots” throughout the game world. Hotspot locations will change about every hour. Finding a hotspot and killing monsters in the area will yield both regular loot and Relic Fragments that can be traded for “super secret exclusive items”.

Legends of Aria’s Dungeon Expansion is Live

Legends of Aria has been updated to bring the Dungeon Expansion to live servers. “Wilderness dungeons finally got the love that they deserve,” it says in the announcement blog. In addition, PvEers will have a new tool “that will help them avoid unscrupulous ganks”. It’s a spell called Ward Evil that is only visible to the caster. When an “outcast enemy” enters the circumference, the caster is notified. The goal is to encourage players to venture outside ‘safe zones” to explore the new dungeons.

Legends of Aria Early Access Release Now Slated for ‘Early Spring’

The Legends of Aria site has been updated with the news that a series of patches will be put into place over the course of the next several weeks. Once complete, and with a more optimized client, things will be in place to launch a major content update called Frozen Tundra. Along with Frozen Tundra, the game will be ready for launch into Steam Early Access. The current target window for this is “early Spring” according to the latest developer diary.
