Boss fights are supposed to bring a challenge to players, putting their skill and patience to the ultimate test! Without them, there would never be a truly worthy foe to stand between the players, and their goals. Guild Wars 2 has featured some amazing bosses thanks to their design, but some mechanics prevent these types of encounters from feeling as epic as a boss fight should be.
World of Warcraft: Play to Play for Free
Big news today for World of Warcraft players. Blizzard has announced plans to allow players to purchase game time with gold! Similar to the PLEX system in EVE or C.R.E.D.D. in Wildstar, you’ll soon be able to purchase a WoW Token from the auction house using gold that can be consumed for 30 days of game time. This is huge.

Camelot Unchained: Live Stream to Showcase Team Effort
The Camelot Unchained team will be starring in a live stream today beginning at approximately 10:00 Eastern / 7:00 Pacific that will show the final preparations for the start of the game’s alpha. According to last night’s update, it would be an easy matter to delay the commencement of alpha in order to complete the final preparations, but the team feels that that’s not an option.

General: Heroes Charge Reveals New Heroes, Dungeons, Arenas
This week MOBA card game Heroes Charge announced its plans to reveal a range of new content at next week’s Game Developer’s Conference in San Francisco. Within the content drop will be a new mage, tank, and support hero as well as a new dungeon and game mode.
