Like so many of you, we’ve been playing Pok�mon Go a lot since it launched this week. And we’ve noticed something pretty amazing happening around the game… it’s got millions people playing together, in real life, as strangers. Pok�mon Go has essentially become the world’s biggest MMO in a matter of days.
General: Former Ubi Dev Forms Studio to Bring Games to Life on Film
Jean-Julien Baronnet, former CEO of the motion picture branch of Ubisoft, has formed a new business called Marla Studios with the goal of bringing video game stories to the big screen. According to Baronnet, it takes knowledge of both video games and film making to see a great story brought to life.
General: Nova Crystallis: A Final Fantasy-Based TCG in the Works
At the Japan Expo, Square Enix revealed that a new trading card game based on the Final Fantasy IP is in the works. Called Nova Crystallis, the game was revealed in the video below. We’ll keep you posted as more is revealed.
General: Survival ARPG, Inferno Climber, Releases into Early Access
Arc System Works Co. has announced that its survival ARPG Inferno Climber is now available on Steam Early Access. Players can take control of any one of eight playable characters, each with their own strengths and abilities. The job is to get hold of five Purgatory Stones throughout the world of Inferno. An integral part of the experience is the survival angle that requires players to manage food intake and items to their maximum benefit.
General: Dex Released for XBox One & PlayStation 4
Dreadlocks & Badland Games have announced that cyberpunk side-scrolling RPG, Dex, is now available for $19.99 on both XBox One worldwide and PlayStation 4 in the EU, with North America’s release for PS4 coming on July 12th.

In Riverton Wyoming, a local teen found more than a Weedle while out walking during a Pok�mon Go adventure. Local station KTVQ reports that Shayla Wiggins found a body floating in a local river on Friday morning. No word yet if it was the work of Team Rocket…
