Last night’s D.I.C.E. Awards were handed out with Bioware’s Dragon Age: Inquisition taking home both the Game of the Year and Best Roleplaying/MMO awards despite stiff and overwhelming competition from Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. Mordor cleaned up eight awards but was beaten out by DAI for GotY in the end.
The latest Activision Blizzard financial statement has been issued for Q4 2014. The earnings report shows off impressive numbers from Hearthstone and Destiny. The two games debuted in 2014 and amassed over 40 million registered players and earned $850 million in revenue.

OtherSide Entertainment has announced that its KickStarter campaign to fund the development of Underworld Ascendant has officially begun. The team is comprised of the original development group that created Ultima Underworld. The KickStarter project is a dream to bring the series back to life. OtherSide is hoping to raise $600,000 to bring the core RPG to PCs.
