Team Ninja is back for the first time since the Tokyo Games Show last fall to give fans a first look at game play from Nioh, a previously developed title for PlayStation 3 from early in the 2000s but that slipped to more recent years. It will be released for PlayStation 4 later this year, though no precise information has been given.

Scarlet City Studios has announced that a limited number of Early Access packages for Aetherlight: Chronicles of Resistance. The game is expected to unravel over several chapters with release occurring over the forthcoming months. Founders Packages range from $12.99 to $500, each with its own set of bonuses and more.
General: Tactical Battle MMO, Affected Zone Tactics, Hits Open Beta
IDC Games has announced that its forthcoming tactical battle MMO, Affected Zone Tactics, is ready to begin open beta testing starting today. Interested players can download and install the client via Steam or through the game company’s own platform. Currently, AZT is available in English, Spanish and French with plans to add six more languages over time.
General: Knights of the Old Republic Apeiron: First In-Game Footage
Poem Studios announced last month that it was working on a reboot of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Its version is called Apeiron and will feature not only much of the original game, but new planets to explore, quests and more. The team has released the first in-game footage that shows off a work in progress for KOTOR as it looks using the Unreal 4 Engine.
