The engine runs independently from players which allows greater immersion and exploration in a fully dynamic world.

A new company, Clockwork Throne, has opened up a Patreon page for interested backers to pledge monthly support for the creation of a vampire-themed MMO called Shadow’s Kiss. In addition to taking inspiration from classic mythology and folktales, Clockwork Throne will also be looking at more modern themes including Vampire Chronicles, True Blood, the Lost Boys, Buffy & Angel.
