Cryptic’s Jared “NoWorries” Sears has posted a new blog post on the Neverwinter site to show off some nice changes coming with the Heart of Fire module. One of the most interesting is that non-legendary end chests will be able to be opened for free — meaning no key required! “Overall the key mechanic wasd frustrating, and needing to spend AD on keys for additional dungeon runs in a given day wasn’t a great experience,” Sears wrote.

Cryptic Studios acknowledged on September 12th that there was an exploit in the Neverwinter Barovia Hunts “that bypasses the intended gameplay” and that the company was working to patch the issue as soon as possible. The post further indicated that “any character found using the exploit will be subject to possible actions taken against player accounts as per Terms of Service”.
New Neverwinter Blog Details Changes Coming to Trickster Rogue & Control Wizard
When Heart of Fire launches, Neverwinter players will see a number of class balance updates. In an new series of blogs, the dev team is taking the time to introduce players to some of the most significant, this week with a special focus on Trickster Rogues and Control Wizards. According to the blog, “both of these classes have gotten the largest amount of changes overall”.

Neverwinter Professions to be Retooled from the Ground Up
The latest Neverwinter blog has been posted to reveal big changes coming to professions with The Heart of Fire. “The professions overhaul is a ground-up redesign of the entire professions system including entirely new recipes, a personal workshop, over 200 unique artisans to hire, and big changes to how recipes themselves are completed.” reads the blog. Today’s post deals specifically with the player’s workshop.
Neverwinter’s Heart of Fire Module will Feature Acquisitions Incorporated
Perfect World Entertainment has announced that The Heart of Fire module will be coming to Neverwinter this fall for PC. The new content will feature Acquisitions Incorporated, “the famed Dungeons & Dragons adventuring company created by Penny Arcade’s founders”. The module’s content has been written by and will be voiced by Jerry Holkins & Mike Krahulik from Penny Arcade, as well as Amy Falcone as the character Walnut Dankgrass.
Neverwinter: Ravenloft Now Available for PlayStation 4 and XBox One Players
Console Neverwinter players can now take off for the wilds of Barovia thanks to the arrival of the Ravenloft content expansion. PlayStation 4 and XBox One players can check out the “meaningful day-to-night” cycle, Ravenloft Manor, the Tarokka Card collection system and the new Castle Ravenloft end game dungeon.
