BlazBlue: Central Fiction will arrive in Japanese arcades sometime in late November, according to new details provided by Famitsu. In addition to the usual modes, this version will also feature the first three acts of the upcoming title’s story.

Central Fiction introduces Naoto Kurogane and Hibiki Kohaku, both of whom are making their playable debuts, and a handful of new gameplay mechanics. Players can expect to take advantage of Exceed Accel, an Overdrive-exclusive super move, and Active Flow, a powered-up state activated by continual offensive maneuvers, when the game launches next month.

Famitsu also provided a tiny glimpse of Central Fiction’s main visual, which they plan to fully unveil in their next issue. While it’s hard to make out much, you will likely notice that legendary hero Nine is featured prominently alongside the aforementioned newcomers. She was previously teased in an earlier trailer, and this image definitely lends further credence to the theory that she will be playable in Central Fiction.

One of the tournaments set to close out the month of October is Detroit’s Youmacon 2015. The convention will be hosting several tournaments outside of our sphere, but will also feature brackets for pretty much any fighter you could want to see played in a tournament setting. This includes old favorites like Street Fighter Alpha 3 and indie titles like Rivals of Aether as well as some of the expected games like Ultra Street Fighter IV and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Once Street Fighter pools come to a close on Saturday, BROKENTIER’s Persia and Kinderparty are scheduled to present a special installment of their Marvel Live podcast. They’ll be joined by CORN’s Footwurk for some match analysis as well as a preview of Marvel’s top eight bracket, which is set to take place the following day.

In addition to the standard fare, viewers can expect to see a three-on-three Marvel exhibition, the details of which have yet to be announced.

With a different of characters, including Ken, Necalli, R. Mika, and more, the experience is sure to be fresh and provide new insight into the upcoming game.

But when can you expect everything to launch? To help players plan their days accordingly, Capcom has released an official schedule, noting when the beta will begin, when cast members will become available, and scheduled downtime.

Starting any kind of crowdfunding campaign is a risky proposition, especially when you stand to walk away penniless if you miss your goal. Fortunately, the folks at Mane6 have a ton to celebrate today after recently hitting the $436,000 mark, which means they will be able to bring Them’s Fightin’ Herds to life.

This news comes shortly after the title was approved by Steam through their Greenlight program, giving the indie developers the opportunity to publish their four-legged fighter on the hyper-popular storefront.

But their journey is far from over. The next horizon comes in the form of numerous stretch goals, from porting the game to Mac and Linux to adding a new character to the initial cast. During a recent tournament, Atlus’ Kazuhisa Wada revealed that they are mulling over the possibility of updating Persona 4 Arena Ultimax on home consoles.

Since January, Persona competitors on consoles have been one major update behind their arcade counterparts. The ver.2.0 patch tweaked the game in a variety of ways, including adjustments to the Shadow cast, auto-combos, and more, in addition to character-specific changes to improve game balance.

Wada, who served as director on Ultimax, is the first Atlus representative to publicly mention the update with regards to consoles, so let’s hope they are closer to making a decision on this overdue issue. We’ll keep you updated as more details become available.

The cast of Ultra Street Fighter IV will be receiving their spooky costumes just before Halloween, according to new details reported by 4Gamer.

As was previously reported, players who log into the second Street Fighter V beta will receive these horror-themed outfits on October 28, but they will also be available for purchase on the same day. Costumes will be priced at ¥411 (~$3.44 USD) apiece or ¥2468 (~$20.66) for the complete package.

4Gamer was also able to share some new images, highlighting the ways Cody, Poison, Gen, Chun-Li, Yun, and others plan to celebrate the holiday. You’ll find them in the gallery below.
