Riders of Icarus players will have an opportunity to choose between two different combat styles thanks to the inclusion of both standard mode and ‘non-targeted action mode’. With the latter, players can turn the camera with the mouse and can attack at will or fire where the crosshairs point. Standard mode, as the name indicates, is the “normal” attack mode of most MMOs.

Nexon America has announced the details of a new Riders of Icarus contest where the grand prize winner will be winging their way to Dragon Con with other prizes ranging from Alienware gaming laptops, PC peripherals and Legendary Riders’ Pack codes.

Nexon has announced that its flight-based MMO, Riders of Icarus, will be ready for open beta beginning July 6th. In addition, the limited time Founders’ Packs have been detailed and can be pre-purchased starting today.

The Riders of Icarus closed beta test has begun for those lucky enough to have been chosen to take part in the first round of CBT. There are several known issues that players need to be made aware of and the development team has done a stellar job creating a list posted to the official site.

Fans of Riders of Icarus will want to head over the game’s official site and sign up for the second phase of closed beta testing. Previous testers are automatically eligible for the next phase and potential players from South America and Europe are also invited to sign up.
