Echo Fox’s Tokido has been on a killing spree as of late. With his return to Akuma in Street Fighter V’s Season 2, the Murderface is back with a vengeance!
However, when he goes up against Haitani’s Necalli, it’s not as easy as you’d think. You don’t reach #2 on the CFN leaderboard and 4th place at Capcom Cup 2016 without skill, and Haitani proves that he has it in spades as he stands toe-to-toe with the most dangerous Akuma out there.

Time after time, it’s still very much possible to find new uses of the same moves in fighting games. In Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR-, Sin Kiske’s super attacks are one of the most flexible ones in the game. RTL lets him move around the screen in any direction, while the projectile, Voltic Deign, is frequently used in setups and mix-ups.
Sin player Valas Phoenix compiled a new combo video with a creative use for the Overdrive. While Voltic Deign still hits the opponent while waking up, as typical in Sin okizeme, most of the projectile goes through. Valas then combos the opponent and uses the traveling ball to carry them to the other side of the screen and continue. Not only it’s great to place them right in the corner across the whole stage, you can also look stylish while doing so.
Set to a festive tune, the video shows what attack string to start with to get the proper distance and timing depending on the opposing character, as well as what combo to follow up. Character weights matter a lot here, but there’s room to improvise with aerial enders, a charged Beak Driver, and so on. The video description explains a few caveats:
“2K 2HS 5HS 2D allows to use just one hit of Voltic Deign, so you can use the other 4 to try cool stuff, unluckily it’s not universal and on some characters, like Zato, works in a really weird manner.

Active members of the Super Smash Bros. community may recognize CLASH Tournaments for their coverage of major Smash events such as Apex 2014, SKTAR 3 and EGLX 2016, but may not be aware that they host and stream a weekly Project M tournament series known as Project CLASH. The comradely tournaments takes place in Philadelphia, PA and the series is on it’s 21st iteration.

Looks like Jax’s daughter is coming into her own in Mortal Kombat XL. A strong character in her own right, she definitely has the combo potential to be entertaining; watch her prove it in this eleven-minute-long combo video that features her Full Auto, High Tech, and Shotgun variations. While a great deal of these invlove with her playing from the corner, the breadth of her combo ability is put on full display.

Balrog was always able to dole out damage in Street Fighter V. However, through Season 1 it was in a straightforward way much akin to his spacing game in Street Fighter IV. With the Season 2 changes, Balrog is looking more like his Super Street Fighter II Turbo self and less like his Street Fighter IV self. With a few adjustments, he has found 50/50 mixups that allow him to do a great deal of damage, upwards of 70% damage on your average cast member. Between his overhead out of V-Skill and low forward, Balrog will put a lot of players on notice.

With Momochi being one of the several exiles from Evil Geniuses that found their way in the Echo Fox camp, one must assume that the incoming organization has high expectations of the Japanese player. However, unable to crack top 16 at Capcom Cup or Evolution 2016, he will have a long road to propel him to the top of the charts.

One of the perennial favorites in NetherRealm games, including a #3 rank on the Mortal Kombat X leaderboard, he has won several events including SoCal Regionals and East Coast Throwdown.
Now the newly signed player speaks out on his hopes to prove himself on Echo Fox, as well as his battle with health issues and being teammates with Sonic Fox, one of his personal rivals on the circuit.
