The WildStar site has been updated with a forward look at the upcoming INVASION: Nexus PvP season. The personal ratings for each bracket are laid out for both North America and Europe as well as some of the more significant updates coming to the PvP system overall.
WildStar’s latest game update, INVASION: Nexus should continue that trend and have something for everyone. We recently had a chance to take a look at some of the goodies coming in today’s game update, so let’s go over a couple of the highlights.
Carbine Studios and NCSoft have announced the release of the latest update to WildStar. Called INVASION: Nexus, the patch brings a host of new content into the game including PvP improvements, the Star-Comm Basin, and the Bay of Betrayal adventure to name a few.
Carbine Studios has a new ‘deep dive’ article on the WildStar site that reveals the first information about Star-Comm Basin, a new adventure zone coming with the INVASION: Nexus update. Star-Comm Basin will feature brand new enemies, rotating dailies, daily events and fantastic new gear.
INVASION: Nexus is primed to bring some fun and useful things to WildStar players. Chief among them are the new Customization features including a boatload of vanity pets and a new Wardrobe function. We chatted with Lead Systems Designer Joe Piepiora to find out more.

That’s the big question, right? With news coming in today that Australian retailers are being asked to pull WildStar from their shelves, something which similar preceded the announcement of ESO’s Tamriel Unlimited, it seems a freemium version of WildStar is en route.
In a near repetition of the Elder Scrolls Online phenomenon several months ago, Australian retailers have pulled boxed copies of WildStar from store shelves. According to Games.On.Net, both EB Games and JB Hi-Fi have removed all copies of the game, fueling rumors that Carbine Studios and NCSoft may be ready to announced a move to a free to play revenue model.
In a new WildStar developer blog penned by Tom "Hildogen" Cassera, the first 20-player raid coming in the Invasion: Nexus update has been revealed. Called "Initialization Core Y-83, the raid will not require attunement but will have an optional "prologue" quest to set the stage.
