The World of Warcraft classic server forums are on fire with several threads being closed due to toxicity. The flames erupted after one of the WoW community team members opened a discussion about the possibility that classes would perhaps undergo some type of balance tweaking for the upcoming classic version of the game. Community manager Ythisens stated his personal opinion that the discussion of class balance in WoW classic was a worthy discussion.

World of Warcraft – Big Changes Coming to World PvP With Today’s Maintenance

If you’re a fan of World of Warcraft’s version of world PvP, then you may want to sit up and take note. After today’s maintenance, a significant update to world PvP is coming. Several legendary items that have been a source of frustration are being nerfed to “reduce the initial burst damage dealt by players…giving the player being attacked more opportunity to react”. In addition, non-tank specs will take 40% less damage while engaged in world PvP.

World of Warcraft – Blizzard Takes Down Bossland’s Honorbuddy, Program Discontinued

HonorBuddy, a controversial bot program in World of Warcraft, is being discontinued effective today. The program has been the fulcrum of legal tussles between Blizzard and Bossland, the organization behind the program. Blizzard has been aggressively pursuing legal action against Bossland as well as seeking out and banning users of the bot. In addition to Honorbuddy, Lazymon, Buddywing and Hearthbuddy will also stop being sold.

World of Warcraft – 55,600 LEGO Bricks Later, Theramore Comes (Back) to Life

A LEGO fan of World of Warcraft has recreated Theramore by using over fifty-five thousand bricks to do so. It is a faithful rendition of the city that is scaled nearly identical to the in-game version. You may remember Theramore as the home of Jaina Proudmoore as well as the tipping point in the war between Horde and Alliance, ultimately won by the Horde when Garrosh dropped a mana bomb on the city to utterly destroy it.

During yesterday’s live World of Warcraft Q&A, a number of small, but significant factoids were announced. Most notably, those playing Legion will be able to take part in the Antorus raid starting the week of November 28th. In addition, the team confirmed that players will be able to choose to have male Orcs stand upright or to remain “hunched” as they have since WoW’s birth.
