The World of Warcraft community site has been updated with a look at patch 7.2 “Return to the Broken Shore”. The article gives an overview of the new questing area on Broken Shore, how defenses will be constructed, new additions to the Class Hall quest line, and the Cathedral of Eternal Night dungeon.

Blizzard Entertainment is taking Bossland to the mat for cheat programs created for a number of the company’s games. Blizzard is seeking $8.5M in damages to the tune of $200 per program purchased in the US. The number of sales in the US alone is alleged to be 42,818.

In a new post on the World of Warcraft community site, the dev team has announced a pair of significant changes to upcoming patch 7.2 and the requirements to ‘earn’ flying in Legion’s Broken Isles.

The 2017 World of Warcraft Arena Championship season will look quite different in the past with more teams able to take part on the regional level and more teams advancing to the finals held at Blizzcon. North America and Europe will each send a dozen teams to the championships, up from eight in 2016.

Blizzard is cracking down on violators of the terms of service for World of Warcraft – effectively banning people who are offering to help clear raids in exchange for real world money. Keep in mind, selling these services for in-game gold is fine. It’s the folks offering to do it for real money that are getting the boot.

After intense player outcry, Blizzard has made the somewhat rare decision to back off v7.2 alterations to both world and instanced PvP. Players felt that some of the changes were draconian and that they would not address core issues with PvP in its current iteration in Legion.
