World of Warcraft Senior Game Designer Jeremy Feasel and Lead Game Producer Daniel Stahl are on hand for a Battle for Azeroth Island Expeditions Developer Insights video. In it, they provide viewers with the basics of what Island Invasions are and how they will play out in the expansion.
Blizzard has announced that the next World of Warcraft expansion, Battle for Azeroth, will be released on August 14th. The announcement came along with a brand new trailer showcasing the expansion’s major features as well as new information about the physical collector’s edition (it’s AWESOME) and the digital deluxe edition.

In the latest dungeon run, Mione is back and finishes the Cathedral of Eternal Night on M+15 and on time. For the record, +15 is something many groups can’t accomplish, let alone a solo player!

Mione is back with a new solo run at one of the World of Warcraft: Legion dungeons. This time the Demon Hunter extraordinaire took on Mythic +22 Court of Stars and completed it in under 3 1/2 hours. That’s quite some achievement!
World of Warcraft has spawned a cottage industry of players who work to bring home world first solo kills of current content raid bosses. Players have been working their way through all of Legion’s raids, and we have news of the world first solo Xavius kill. Xavius is the final boss in the first Legion raid, the Emerald Nightmare.
The World of Warcraft team has good news for mount collectors: Shu-Zen, the Divine Sentinel mount is now available in the item shop for $25. He is described as “fiercely protective and loyal” and comes to collectors via Pandaria and the Golden Lotus faction.
Art student Collin Harris sent over a brief video showing off his submission to the next Blizzard Student Art Contest. In it, he shows the World of Warcraft location of Goldshire Cliffs as he envisions it using the Unreal Engine 4.
Purported alpha footage has leaked online that shows off a pair of locations coming to World of Warcraft’s next expansion, Battle for Azeroth. The videos were put up late on January 28th by YouTube user “LeystTV” without any information about how he obtained the footage. Regardless, both look amazing. One shows the destruction in and around the Undercity, the other the island location of Zuldazar, part of Zandalar.
